Join External Minecraft Servers

How to join Custom Minecraft servers on console or other Minecraft platforms that don’t allow joining servers by default.

The “Add Friend” Method works best in my experience.

First Open Minecraft and then click Play.

Then navigate over to the friends tab on the menu.

Next click add friend.

Then search for gamertag: BCMain or BCMain1

Add friend.

Then wait until you get a invite from the new friend. Then we can join from the Friend menu. Once you join the game it will open a server menu that can be used to enter details for any external server.
